This Diplomat Elox fountain pen features a smooth Zeppelin-inspired black anodized aluminum body, accented by a matrix of horizontal and vertical lines of anodized orange aluminum. 

Elox derives from “eloxieren” which means “anodize” in German and was chosen to recognize the complexity of the double anodizing process, a unique and innovative technology being applied by Diplomat for the first time.

This fountain pen has a satisfying soft sliding click cap that posts securely onto the barrel when writing. The black and orange barrel and cap are complemented by an orange grip section and gunmetal gray trim. Finally, the pen is completed with a smooth writing #6 JoWo stainless steel nib, and fills via standard international cartridge/converter (both of which are included).
